Click to watch

Pangong Tso (Tso means Lake in Ladakhi), Biggest Lake of Asia, is the highest lake (situated at a height of 14000 ft) in Ladakh region which boasts beautiful wild flowers in summer. The lake is 160 km from Leh, with spectacular view of the colorful mountains and Changla pass. The Pangong Lake is spectacular, surrounded by multicolored mountains and its reflection makes the lake beautiful. The color of the lake changes shades throughout the day. The division of lake between India and China - about 80% of the water of the lake belongs to China and the remaining 20% to India) - makes it different from the other Lake and therefore you are allowed to go upto Spangmik only. This famous blue brackish Lake is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long.

Pangong Tso is also known as hollow lake. It is clear symbol of nature’s craftsmanship. Its brackish water plays with sun light to produce different colour effects. Pangong-Tso is a salty lake From the banks of the lake one can see mountains and peaks in Tibet.
