Navin Rawanchaikul is a Thai artist who divides his time
between Thailand and Japan, and
whose
family roots are Indian and
Hindu-Punjabi. His film Navins of Bollywood (2006, 11
min)
borrows
from Bollywood song and dance cinema, and
is part of the artist’s ongoing investigation
into
identity through his global search for other ‘Navins’.
