A. K. Chakrav is a painter, writer, poet, musician and a humanist above anything else.

He has been involved in the world of Fine Arts from a very early age. He received his fine arts training from European and Canadian painters. His paintings portray nature by  blending these two perspectives.

Chakrav has also published several books of poetry, stage plays and other works for which he has received medals.
