“I am going to turn today back to 25 and relive my youth from 25 to 50. First time, from 25 to 50 was hard work but this time it will be fun. Instead of taking life easy after retirement, I wish to relive my youth when I am still young and healthy”, said Pradeep Anand, on his 50th birthday speech.

 

Pradeep was born on 15th August 1951 in Ludhiana, Punjab.

 

The family moved from Ludhiana to Nangal 1954,  to Delhi in 1959, where Pradeep completed B. Tech (Electrical Engineering) from IIT Delhi. Pradeep moved to Canada in Sep 1972 to join M.A.Sc. (Elec Engg) at University of Waterloo on a scholarship.

 

Pradeep was the youngest in the class (22  years) when he finished his Masters. He married Bina in 1974.

 

Pradeep worked with  various companies until 1986 and started his full time business in 1987.

 

At the age of 50, he is semi-retired. So is his wife, Bina. They have three sons: Deepak (21), Varun (14), and Nitin (19).

 

Both of them are focusing on Spirituality (Chinmaya Mission), charity (Bina at Hospital for Sick Kids) and leisure Activities: Music, Golf and Bridge, in addition to socialising.
