Brigadier (Retd.) Balraj Masson with Krishna on their wedding golden jubilee anniversary in New Jersey (U.S.A.), where they moved a few years ago to be close to their family.

The celebrations on 27th December 2001 were attended by kith and kin from the U.S.A., Canada and India.

Briefly summing up their life together, Brigadier Masson told SAO: "We first met about 2 years before marriage, though verbal engagement had taken place when she (Krishna) had not perhaps reached even teen years.

In married life we both knew that mutual adjustments were to take place. She kept up the social life and close contacts with relations and I myself remained occupied with my professional life [first in the navy and then in the army]."
