ORDER OF ONTARIO for Ms Madeline Ziniak
Ms Madeline Ziniak, Vice President and Executive Producer of CFMT-TV, received the Order of Ontario from the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario The Honourable Hilary M. Weston.
Ms Ziniak was amongst 27 recipients of the Order of Ontario for year 2001. The award recognised her contribution towards promotion of multiculturalism.
Madeline Ziniak, Vice President and Executive Producer of Canada’s First Multilingual/Multicultural Television system (CFMT-TV), since 1993 holds executive level responsibility for television production and programming decisions in a commercial, multilingual/multicultural broadcast environment.
Earlier in the year, she was chosen to receive the 2001 Global Television Network /Canadian Women in Communications (CWC) Management Development for Women Award.
