Some 37 years ago, Dr Shashi Sehdev convinced his parents to send him out of town (not a very affordable proposition at the time) to fulfill his dream of going into the noble medical  profession.

After completing his education, Shashi served in the beautiful hills of Shimla to the lonely & scary interiors of Baragaon, a village in Himachal Pardesh with a commitment to serve the people.

Then he moved to USA and qualified to carry on in his profession. He continued educating himself about the latest developments in medicine.

While on a trip to India, he married a young, beautiful and charming person, Sarita, who has been with him through thick and thin over the last 25 years.

To date he has not forgotten the sacrifices made by his parents to help him attain his goals. . He tries to instill the same commitment and family values to his two children.

Dr Shashi is practising as a Specialist in the field of prematurely-born babies.
