As Premier of British Columbia, I am pleased to extend
congratulations to the South Asian Outlook on the
publication of their first e-monthly issue in July 2001.
British Columbians are proud of their cultural diversity, and I
would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank the
South Asian community for its cultural, social and economic
contributions to this province. I would also like to thank the
South Asian Outlook for promoting unity and understanding
across cultures, and strengthening the multicultural ties that
unite us all.
On behalf of the government and the people of British Columbia,
please accept my best wishes for a long and successful future with
